| Description | Social Sciences explain "home" as a generally shared a normative concept. However, by individuals the concept is understood and fulfilled in various ways and practices. Home is a concept that touches not only the everyday life of individuals and families, but also extends to the ways of presentations of the nations, citizens of nation States or other geopolitical formations, members of different cultures, etc. (comp. To Anderson’s imagined community). In a field of home studies, the phenomenological approach presents a very strong inspiration; in Czech milieu is it certainly the influence of Jan Patočka. The aim of the paper is to discuss the the possible contribution of Jan Patočka work to the research in the field of experience and design home. |
