| Description | Inquiry-based science education (IBSE) is considered an important innovative teaching strategy in science education. Theoretical principles of IBSE are set. However, it is necessary to develop educational technologies, materials and tools. Appropriate teaching method within the IBSE is the IBSE module. These modules have a didactic structure. Their core is the scenario that motivates students to inquiry. This teaching method was developed within the European project PROFILES, in which the authors participate. The book presents research results of IBSE in the Czech environment. Specific examples of IBSE modules are presented. |
