| Description | Fixed combinations increase the adherence/compliance of patients to treatment and also the disease control. Combination of two drugs is nowadays recommended for the treatment of hypertension, diabetes mellitus or dyslipidaemia. The renin-angiotensin system blockade together with beta receptor blockade is considered the optimal treatment of coronary heart disease and heart failure. |
