| Description | The seminar will focus on structuring a history lesson in ELT through drama. We will use a story of a girl sold by her brother as a bride into another culture without the knowledge of the language. We will look at the story from the point of view of all the protagonists: the girl, her father, her brother, and the future husband in the context of the period and the politics of the time. We will calculate the girl’s journey to the faraway country in the horse-drawn carriage and compare it with today´s means of travel. |
