| Description | The contribution deals with the object of prison in Uherske Hradiste, a place with a dark past, which became a direct witness of two regime terrors. In 1960´s was the prison shut (closed) and since that time the majority of the object has been falling into ruin. The compound has been left without any external interventions so the visitors can feel the authentic atmosphere of the historical events. A concept of future muzeological institution has been debated on expert levels. In my contribution I am dealing with following questions: How to make a use of the place potential, maintenance of the reverential dignity while integrating the place to public space. |
