| Description | The concept of social metabolism has developed recently as one of the many possible approaches to study the complex relations between humans and nature, since the natural environment is more and more intensively transformed by humans to satisfy their needs and wants. The aim of this paper is to introduce the concept of social metabolism to Czech readers, to illustrate its possible applications both on global and local level, and to suggest its possible use in education. |
