| Description | Research shows that architects cannot predict the laymen’s aesthetic evaluation of architecture. Students of architecture and laypeople rated 40 family house images. Both groups evaluated the house from its own perspective and then from the perspective of the second group. We tested the hypotheses whether these ratings would differ and whether the judges agreed among themselves. The pictures were divided into 4 groups according to the architectural style. We tested the style's influence on the evaluation of aesthetic quality of the house. The results will be presented. |
