| Description | T. G. Masaryk was evaluated in one way during his life and in quite another way after his death. At last he remained outside of our life completely. He required a responsible and cultivated relationship toward it. At the same time, in an immanent, not transcendent sense. Also politics – in accord with Masaryk – should be united “with ideas“. History should be conceived as if “sub specie aeternitatis“. For Masaryk it is interconnected with faith in God and in the existence of an immortal soul. |
