| Description | The paper presents Jozef Bednárik as a musical director. Since 1995, this Slovak director created 7 original productions of 6 Czech musicals; from Dracula (1995), Joanne of Arc (2000) and Angelique (2007) back to the new stage version of Dracula (2009). The paper traces several distinctive elements of Bednárik’s directing and aims to describe both his conception and its gradual transformation from Dracula (1995 version) to Dracula (2009 version). |
