| Description | Quizlet is a popular online tool which is used mainly for vocabulary building, however, it can be also employed for other kinds of language practice, such as grammar or word formation. In the presentation I share a range of Quizlet activities from my ESP classes, describing a variety of tasks which may be transformed into flashcards and commenting on numerous ways how Quizlet may be implemented into teaching and learning. The examples are taken from two ESP courses: English for Lawyers and English for Mathematicians but many presented flashcard sets and classroom techniques may be readily used or adapted in any course. Throughout the talk I also share the experience from both the teacher’s and students’ perspectives. |
