| Description | The author of the present paper deals with views on Dostoyevsky’s personality and especially on the work Writer’s Diary in encyclopaedias of different periods—at the turn of the 19th and 20th century, the interwar period, in the fifties, seventies, in the period after the year 1989 and nowadays. Author’s attention is paid to so-called volumes Bolshaya encyklopedya, on which both social situation and ideological influences had a significant impact. |
