• Description: The publication focuses on the fundamental issues of public law property, which comprises primarily conceptual definitions of so called public property and so called public thing, as the subject of this property, and further characterization of the constitutional context of public property and property of local self-governments. The definition of public property is followed by the issues of acquisition of the property in question by the public entities, management of public property and legal disposing of it, as well as the questions of responsibility and control in the management of public property. The necessary space is devoted to the public property issues of the entities different from the state, ie. the property of public universities, professional associations and public research institutions. At the end of the publication an excursion into the issue of public entities property rights in abroad can be found.
