Description Recently, we can increasingly observe cases concerning the so-called manipulation of public contracts in the media, whether it is the case of the former director of the Na Homolce Hospital or the former Governor of the Central Bohemian Region or the case of officials of the Brno city district. In this context, we consider it appropriate to bring readers closer to the offenses that persons involved in public procurement can commit, both from the position of the contracting authority and from the position of supplier or participant in the award or selection procedure. In our opinion, those involved in the procurement or selection process often do not realize that they are committing criminal offenses at all.
