| Description | Newly established large databases of vegetation plots enable us to model and map patterns of species richness of plant communities across large areas. We created such maps for grassland and forest vegetation of the Czech Republic and forest vegetation of Europe. The results show that the distribution of species richness differs between the vegetation types as it responds to different factors. |
