| Description | On the ground of a short article the author follows a hundred-year history of the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University in Brno. He approaches it both as a legal historian and as a person involved – first as a student of the faculty and then, with a time lag, as a member of the academic staff. He divides the period from 1919 to 2019 into several twenty- or thirty-year periods separated by the years ending with "nine" (1939, 1969 and 1989), which played a key role in the history of the faculty. In additon to the pieces of information necessary for the basic orientation, and within them, he reminds those chapters in the history of the faculty that are less known or, in his opinion, are perceived in a subjective or otherwise distorted way. |
