| Description | The book chapter presents an overview of the findings of the so-called pre-Duchcov horizon (LT B1a) in Moravia, defined in direct relation to the material culture of this horizon in Bohemia. Unlike the latter, pre-Duchcov horizon can be reliably recognized in Moravia only in graves, not in finds from settlements. Discontinuity is evident in relation to LT A graves, but no continuity is so far proved also between the pre-Duchcov graves (LT B1a) and the flat La Tene cemetries, beginning in LT B1b-c. |
