| Description | The book describes the Jewish community of Jevíčko which is now already extinct. Main focus of this work lies on the years 1918 – 1945. However, the core of this work lies within the religious community of Jevíčko. The thesis also mentions the historic events of the city of Jevíčko, which is very important for putting the history of a relatively small community into the broader context. This part ends with the description of the holocaust, that practicaly meant the extinction for the Jewish community of Jevíčko. Sole surviving memorials of the local Jewish settlement, the cemetery and synagogue, also got the the chapter of their own |
