Description The methodology clearly processes a rapid and standardized procedure for detecting the presence of Swine influenza virus in the sample. The SIV is causative agent of infectious respiratory diseases affecting domestic pigs (Sus scrofa domestica). The methodology is suitable for monitoring and screening of the studied pathogen and is applicable for a wide range of applications in the veterinary and human fields. The standardized system may be part of complex multiplex pathogen detection, which allows for detection of up to several dozens of different pathogens in one reaction, isolated RNA of various origins, eg from animal tissues and faeces, or from meat products distributed by the market, can be used as template RNA intended for human consumption.
