| Description | Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2T) at any age significantly affects the health status and other perspectives of an individual's life [1,2]. In older age, it can significantly affect self-sufficiency (including the development of geriatric syndromes) and the social status of the individual. In late age (?75 years), DM is often part of multimorbidity and can lead to polypharmacotherapy, which can be both justified and fully justified and sometimes undesirable. |
