Description The edited monograph presents the basic findings from the psychological part of the Czech branch of the longitudinal ELSPAC study. The study follows a cohort of participants born in 1991 and 1992. The current monograph describes the development of participants across the stage of adolescence, i.e. from age 11 to 19. Individual chapters cover psychosocial development in various areas and employ the longitudinal character of data allowing for individual development descriptions. The areas covered are the development of self and identity, the development of romantic relationships and sexual behaviour, the development of leisure time management, the developmen of worldviews and the belief in a just world, the development of experiencing negative emotions, fear and depressed mood, the development of career planning, and the development of risk behaviour.
