| Description | The paper is devoted to an attempt to evaluate the situation of the recent demise of a set of rural buildings in Nové Heřminovy in the Bruntál region in connection with the construction of a waterworks on the river of Opava. Although a partial survey of selected buildings and also the first phase of rescue archaeological research took place in the affected area, the planned follow-up survey activities were interrupted. This was followed by the gradual demolition of the most valuable buildings. This is an example where rescue and detailed documentation of endangered buildings could not be carried out and valuable rural house-building disappeared. |
