| Description | Sirotkova Elementary School in Brno took the current situation firmly in its own hands, and the Pupil's Parliament set up a "live" discussion for pupils in grades 3-9. About 15 pupils meet regularly with the guest of the discussion and are educated in culture, sports, science, and others. On February 8, two healthcare workers sat in the virtual "Armchairs for the Guest", as the discussion is called. The guest was Mrs. Blahýnková, the mother of one of the students, who introduced the Masaryk Cancer Institute and talked about her work at the Department of Clinical Trials in the position of study coordinator. The second guest was Dr. Součková from the University Hospital at Sv. Anny in Brno and Masaryk University is part of our CZECRIN team. Dr. Součkova introduced the students to the principle and importance of vaccination, the development of vaccines, and information about the current state of the vaccine against Covid-19. On behalf of CZECRIN, we are very grateful for the opportunity to bring the current situation closer to the young generations. We firmly believe that, based on the information obtained, it will be easier for pupils to find their way around the amount of information currently available to them and that it is easier for them to evaluate or think about it. Furthermore, even though the presentation is intended for primary school pupils, it contains interesting and valuable information for all ages.
