| Description | The article deals with one of the most important parts of criminalistics, ie the criminological identification of persons. This issue will be viewed in the article through the prism of its historical evolution, so it will not be an exhaustive contradiction of individual methods used in criminalistics to identify people, but the aim of the article will be to compare the historical evolution of individual methods with the current state of knowledge. Attention will also be paid to some ideas of important forensic theorists of history and the present and their possible application in forensic practice. |
