| Description | In the communication, we presented our experience with cooperation of the study programme French for administration and different companies on the Labour market in the city of Brno. Thanks to our testimonial, we want to contest one of the most frequent arguments against the choice of French at Czech schools, the one that French is not useful for the future career of the pupils. With our students, we had the opportunity to receive, at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University, several representatives of Czech and international companies that look for French-speaking employees. At the same time, we had excursions or workshops in the companies and we are currently preparing internships in the companies for students. Thanks to the meetings and discussions with different professionals (for example the representatives from Gardner Denver, IBM Brno, Zebra Technologies, the City of Brno, Brno Expat Centre), we presented the most interesting information on the position of French at the local labor market. |
