| Description | The Czech book market is over-saturated with books. Classics are published as well as works by established male and female authors. Moreover, there are the young writers and a big part of foreign literature. The (not only Czech) reader can thus lose track and begin to grope. The lecture will offer various approaches to defining what contemporary Czech literature is and present the thematic tendencies of emerging books. In addition to classical fiction genres, also on-trend issues will be presented - these are graphic novels (comix) or a dystopia. In the end, not only translations of Czech works into Serbian will be mentioned, but also sources where the reader can guide themself in the amount of published literature and gain inspiration. |
