| Description | In this study of 393 adolescents 15 - 21 years of age, the relationship between five basic dimension of personality and a) playing computer games, b) frequency of playing computer games, c) favourite type of computer game, was investigated. Separate analysis for girls and boys revealed significant differences for boys. We found significant differences between players and non-players in dimension emotional stability and significant differences between frequent and non-frequent players in dimension conscientiousness and emotional stability. Relationship between favourite type of computer game and basic dimension of personality was discovered. |
