Description In the present work we studied protonation/deprotonation equilibrium of azido-derivatives in aqueous solutions at various ionic strength by using UV spectra and chemometrics. The absorption spectra were measured from 240 to 320 nm at 25C.The absoption maxima of nucleic bases and their derivatives are very close and identical.From non-smoothed spectra the matrices were obtained that were used as input data for Multivariate Curve Resolution including the Alternation Least Squates (MCR-ALS, Matlab).
