| Description | The article analyses basic and alternative trends of modern philosophy and methodology of macroeconomics. The methodology of Milton Friedman and the philosophy of Karl Popper are introduced. Of the newer streams, McCloskey rhetoric program is explained; it rejects methodology as such. Many methodological works defy the known and used routines at the first glance. Some of them are listed in part Alternative approaches. |
