| Description | Literary and partly also art activities of an extraordinary person, 18th-century artist and history-writer J. Ceregetti. Consideration is given mainly to his literary-translation works, which were partially hidden in unknown or unsigned manuscripts so far, even if they largely represent an outstanding phenomenon in context of the czech literary tradition (especially translations of Metamorphoses of Ovid, of Thousand and the one nights stories, or a compilation of Livius and Florus Rome history into czech). |
