| Description | One ofthe problems of web-based university information systems is a proper resource allocation to serve a variable user request load for example due to university study characteristics based on study terms. Incorrect capacity determination of individual components may lead to important decrease of service quality or waste of system resources. The main goal of this paper is to introduce some possible solutions of this problem developed and practicaly tested at several types of universities. Also current results of development focused on local overloading prevention technologies are discussed. |
