| Description | The article discusses the ancient anthology "Epigrammata Bobiensia". This collection can be seen as a representitive selection of the epigrams composed at the end of the antiquity. A formal analysis focused on the Latin translations of the Greek originals carried out. These translations do not constitute only the very basis of the whole collection, but they also show a certain connection to the poems by Ausonius. At the end of the study, a literary as well as historical overview is included. |
