| Description | The article deals with the classification of accentuation devices utilized in face-fo face English conversation. Classification of accentuation devices as to their discourse meaning and their division into speaker-oriented, hearer-oriented and discourse organizing boosters are presented. The analysed materials are taken from A Corpus of English Conversation. |
