Description The article shows the partial results of the first step of empirical research of the Czech company s competitiveness within the Research centre of the competitive capacity of the Czech economy. The first step of the research comprised of the data evaluation and the frequency analysis and I present the results from one surveyed stakeholder group, as the research results from the stakeholder model, respectively employees. In this part of research it was explored among others employee turnover and it is reasons, the extent of the variable component of remuneration, employee benefits and the spent resources on this benefits and the impact of some of the devices noted on the employee motivation. The research was effected on the 432 Czech manufacturing companies with more than 50 employees. The stakeholder group of employees is very important in light of the company s competitiveness because the quality of the human capital is more and more considered as the one of the most important factors of the company s economic performance and of the competitiveness. There are three ways of gaining the competitive advantage: innovations, higher quality of the offered products and services then the quality of competition and the price competition. In principle all three ways are dependent on the quality of the company s human resources (high performance and productivity, flexibility, innovative capacity, capabilities to provide the services on the top level, etc.)
