| Description | Late adolescence involves various life transitions and the transition to university is one of these. The transition to university experience can be very stressful and the first year of university can be particularly difficult. We prepared a special course for students of the first year of study different faculties on Masaryk university in Brno with a view to help students in arears difficult in term of adaptation. The results from questionnaire at the beginning of course showed the student`s problems in the first days of the study and their fears in connection with the study. Effective intervention programme for new students during the course facilitate their transition to university and plays a key role in their long-term adaptation to university life. |
