| Description | Allergic rhinitis often represents the initial phase of a more serious disease such as astma. The ethiopatogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis, differentional diagnosis and treatment of Occupational Allergic Rhinitis are discussed here. Diagnostics of Occupational Allergic Rhinitis is a complex procedure. Nasal-specific provocation test is the most characteristic test. This method implies measurement of the flow and resistance of the air through nasal cavity by rhinomanometry, before and after exposing the nasal mucous membrane to suspect allergen. Subjective nasal symptoms are scored by Symptom Score. |
