| Description | The paper discusses the basic perspective of sociology of religion on four basic axes: a) dynamics and statics, b)individual and community, c) local and global, d) biological and cultural. A study of religions, concieved in this way, enables theoretical and methodological use of various concepts and approaches, from the theory of globalization to cognitive approaches,and at the same time it provides the opportunity to reconsider traditional sociological issues, such as the forms of religious organizations (institutionalized religiosity) and the study of religious socialisation and conversion. |
