| Description | In December 2008 the Department of French Language and Literature Pedagogical Faculty, Masaryk University, an international scientific conference on Europe Central, Carrefour des cultures dans la tradition littéraire (Central Europe, a crossroads of cultures in the literary tradition). Twenty-one participants from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, France, Spain, Germany and Switzerland jointly work on exploring various aspects of the interpenetration of cultures between East and West. Entries its focus to cover the period from the Middle Ages to the 21st literature century. Published proceedings is an important contribution to further study of intercultural relations, both in Central and Western Europe |
