Description Issues of “new” social risks in the labor market have become the subject of intense research in the Czech social policy in the last ten years. This publication reflects the results of the research project “New Social Risks and the Need to Reform the Labor Market Political Regulation in the Czech Republic after EU Accession”. The key theme of the book is to understand the links between unemployment and new social risks in the labor market on the one hand, and Czech welfare state institutions on the other. Authors try to describe the two forms of new social risks: the risk in the labor market as a real social problem and the risk in the labor market as political agenda.
