Description The interaction of cellulose with various forms of plasma medium results in several processes including changing of surface energy, rising wettability, fiber weakness. The dry plasma experiment were realized on DCSBD source and plasma torch. Cotton knit was exposed in the range 10s-1min. under air, O2,N2 and atmosphere. The WPCR plasma experiment (source: plasma pencil) were realized in the ambience of pure water or H2O2. The WPCR plasma experiments in the presence H2O2 medium showed us the changes in the chemical structure. IR analysis proved the chemical modification consisted with an increase of carboxyl groups in thhe product. TGA,DSC measurements clarified the results of surface modification by DCSBD.
