| Description | The contribution deals with the transonymisation of propria which is explored on Czech oikonyms exemplified in SYN2005 corpus. It describes the factors influencing the process of transonymisation of oikonyms which can be divided into an out-of- language and language categories. To the out-of-language factors, e.g. the social importace of the place named by the certain oikonymic name belongs, as well as the size of an oikonymic object (town, village). The out-language-factors are consequently projected into the frequency and productivity of a transonymised oikonym in its use in the text. |
