Head of the Department of Financial Law and National Economy

full time, fixed term for 3 years.

The Department of Financial Law and National Economy is a research and teaching institution of the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University with a multidisciplinary focus on financial law, social law, and the interaction between law and economic sciences. The department is the guarantor of a wide range of subjects in various study programs at all levels of study. Research and teaching activities at the department are collaborative with a developed international cooperation.

Main activities:

• Responsibility for the pedagogical and scientific activities of the department and achieving the desired outputs and results,

• Personnel management of the department (motivation, evaluation, and career development of employees),

• Responsibility for the management of entrusted resources,

• Close cooperation with the faculty management,

• Own pedagogical (including preparation of study and teaching materials), scientific research, and publishing activities.

 

Qualifications and other requirements (mandatory):

• University education with a master's degree in Law,

• Academic or scientific title of Professor or Associate Professor (Docent),

• At least 10 years of professional experience in the field,

• Active pedagogical and scientific activity and willingness to guarantee specialized subjects taught at the department,

• Personal and professional prerequisites for leading the department,

• Ability to teach and publish in Czech and English, additional language skills are an advantage,

• Fulfillment of the conditions according to Act No. 451/1991 Coll., as amended, not required for persons born after 1 December 1971,

• Moral integrity.
