What will you learn?
The Geology program is designed for those who are planning to work in basic research and research. The field is aimed at obtaining master's education, both in the form of a full-time and a combined form. The course includes specialization in selected theoretical disciplines, subjects aimed at presentation of results and subjects related to the preparation of diploma thesis.

The aim of the study in the follow-up master's program is to consolidate and deepen the education gained in the previous bachelor program and to obtain the professional qualification of a geologist prepared for independent creative work in geological fields, both theoretical and practical, as well as geological education.
Practical training
Practical training depends on the choice of subjects students enrolled for. Practical training linked to compulsory courses is an obligatory part of the study plan for this study programme. Landscape research training and excursions.
Career opportunities
Graduates can find jobs in basic or applied research - at universities, institutes, museums, companies, specialized laboratories, environmental institutions, state management, etc. They can work independently and solve complex problems.
Admission requirements
This study field is possible to study only in Czech language. Written test on the level of bachelor exam.
