Lecture: Field Experimentation and Sustainability

University of Cologne. The topic of his research always relates to behavioral business ethics. During his PhD he did a research stay at the University of Chicago where he was inspired a lot from the pioneer of field experimentation John List. After his graduation, he switched from the academia to business practice – first as a consultant for sustainability management and currently as sustainability manager at FOND OF (https://www.facebook.com/fondofDE/), a leading firm producing high-quality backpacks (see e.g. https://www.facebook.com/pinqponqlife/ or https://www.facebook.com/aevor/). Although working in the practical business world, he tries to use the insights and methods from experimental economics. He will talk about both sustainability management in the textile industry and field experiments about consumers preferences for sustainable clothing.
