Quo Vadis Central Europe?

Germany without any doubts belongs to economic and political the most important states in the Europe and relations with this country is base for the foreign politics in many states in its neighborhood. That is more than certainly truth for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary, aka state of the Visegrad Group. After almost three decades of freedom in these countries, so as a change in Central Europe and whole European Union in this time, we have a good opportunity to evaluate common relations and prospect to the future.

In the first part of conference, the experts will be focused to relations between Germany and V4 countries, their common starting points and (possible) differences. On the second panels, opinions about role of Central Europe in the EU will be introduce. The conference will realize within traditional “Czech-German day” on Masaryk Univerzity. Co-organizer of the event is Konrad Adenauer-Stiftung in the Czech Republic.
