Zdeňka Jastrzembská and the theme Women and Romantic Science

The lecture will present texts written by Czech women in the 1840s and 1850s, in which a romantic view of the world and nature was applied. Specifically, it will be about the natural history entries of the unfinished encyclopedic dictionary for ladies, which was created around Bohuslava Rajská, the study "The Age of Man" by Viktoria Paulová, and the natural history texts of Božena Němcová.
