Exhibition of Petr Veselý: Hruška's Shoes

Brno artist Petr Veselý will open a photography exhibition entitled Hruška's Shoes. The collection of photographs will include images of poets, including Vít Sliva, Petr Hruška, Zbyněk Hejda, Jiří Kuběna and the Reynek brothers. The poet Zdeněk Volf will introduce the exhibition together with Petr Veselý. "I usually photograph not only the performing poets, but also the environment, which is in many ways decisive: in content, lighting, articulation, composition or compositional handwriting. I work with different scales of figures and things, with their placement in the format, with relationships, dashes, gaps," said Petr Veselý.

The exhibition runs from 21 September to 30 November.
