  • 2003:  Ph.D. in computer science (Faculty of Informatics). Thesis topic: Exact Aesthetics—Object and Scene to Message.
Employment
  • 2025 — :  Researcher (CIIRC ČVUT). Co-investigator, UX designer and frontend developer of the TACR grant project “Artificially intelligent teacher of art education” aimed at exploring new ways of teaching arts remotely by designing an AI assistant for distance education of painting & sculpting.
  • 2023 — :  Lecturer of computer art (Artgoritmy.cz). Organizing workshops on digital creativity for art school students.
  • 2023–2025:  Researcher (Faculty of Arts). Co-investigator of the grant project “Strengthening the excellence of the Theory of Interactive Media program” focused on transforming educational processes in response to the challenges associated with the massive adoption of artificial intelligence applications in creative industries.
  • 2020–2022:  Lecturer (Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs). Author of courses and workshops introducing open-source solutions and enforcing security and privacy in public administration.
  • 2020–2022:  Researcher (Faculty of Arts). Co-investigator of the grant project “Art–design–media / Exploration and mediation of creative production” focused on expanding knowledge and advancing the analysis of art & media intersections in digital culture and creative industries.
  • 2018–2020:  Educational content creator (Fund for Further Education). Author and supervisor of online courses focused on computer-aided creativity and transferable digital competencies for the Strategy of Digital Education (2015–2020).
  • 2007–2016:  Web designer (Institute of Computer Science). Designer & consultant for the Uniweb team delivering new web presentation for Masaryk University. Formerly designing user interface and interaction metaphors for the Integrated Students’ Data Registry system and the university Moodle-based environment for creating and sharing e-learning resources.
  • 2002 — :  Visual artist. Presented at a variety of art shows and festivals, incl. Ars Electronica (Linz), Computer Multimedia Art (Prague) or DOX Center for Contemporary Art (Prague).
  • 1998–2006:  Faculty researcher (Faculty of Informatics). Co-founder of the Graphic Design & Multimedia Group, researcher of software aesthetics and computational foundations of art.
  • 1993–2011:  Event organizer (Faculty of Informatics). Organizing committe member of conferences and academic events of both local and international impact (SOFSEM, DATAKON, MEMICS).
