The project is devoted to the second, empirical stage of the research on the question: „What are the features of the Czech social-work-service organisations’ culture and what is the influence of this culture on the work with clients? The goal of the project is to answer two questions: „How does the staff of selected Czech social-work-service organisations solve basic organisational dilemmas related to its work with clients?“ „Is the Czech social-work-service organisations’ culture an effect of the workers’ tendency to avoid dilemmas of the work with their clients?“ The research should be devoted to the metodological as well as ethical side of solving the clients-related dilemmas in organisations. The authors of the project have intention to use the participative research procedure as an instrument of understanding the culture of selected Czech organisations. The procedure consists of co-operation of researchers and workers on developing solution of problems determined by the workers of selected organisations. Results of the project should be discussed by the participants of international meeting on issues of culture of social work services and on using culture-related knowledge in making policy of social services.
