1. Build capacity at PC institutions for implementing learner-centred teaching

This objective will be threefold: training practicing teachers, staff involved in developing the study process, administrative staff, and those who will be training them in learner-centred teaching, evaluation and assessment methods; developing a manual containing all innovative teaching approaches and best practices for the newly trained staff and future professionals; and establishing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) units with relevant infrastructure for implementing the learner-centred approach in partner universities.

2. Raise awareness about learner-centred learning in PC institutions and in society at large
All dissemination activities will be directed towards achieving this goal. The dissemination strategy will ensure that the impact of the project goes beyond the institutions directly involved. Using partners’ own contacts and channels of dissemination will guarantee that the key stakeholders are informed about the new strategies and approaches placing a learner at the center of the teaching and learning process.

3. Create a basis for cooperation through international network for exchange of experience
In the frame of the project, online networking platform will be developed. Users of the system will be academic and administrative staff of consortium partners and other higher education institutions throughout Georgia, China and the rest of the world who are interested in sharing experience about the learner-centred philosophy of teaching.
