We propose a novel approach to the sintering of printed nanoparticle coatings by means of low-temperature atmospheric pressure plasma generated by diffuse coplanar surface barrier discharge (DCSBD). Compared to other annealing methods, DCSBD plasma treatment offers compatibility with temperature sensitive substrates, short treatment times and easy incorporation into roll-to-roll lines – future of low-cost manufacturing of various optoelectronic devices on large scale.
